What's Actually in Your Skincare
I keep ingredient lists short on purpose. Every Aia product is built from a small handful of organic ingredients, and I want to be upfront about exactly what they are and why they're there.
The Body Oil is jojoba oil, almond oil, and ylang ylang essential oil. Jojoba is technically a wax ester, not an oil, which is part of why it absorbs so quickly and closely mimics skin's own sebum without leaving a heavy residue. Almond oil is rich in vitamin E and fatty acids, giving the blend its deep, lasting hydration. Ylang ylang isn't there for hydration at all. It's there for how it makes the ritual feel, a calming, floral note that turns applying oil into something closer to aromatherapy.
The Face Oil takes a different combination: rosehip seed oil, jasmine essential oil, and rose essential oil. Rosehip is the workhorse here, carrying vitamins A and C that support a brighter, more even-looking complexion over time. Jasmine and rose are both about how the oil feels and smells on skin, soothing and gently fragrant without being overpowering.
None of these ingredients are exotic or hard to understand, and that's intentional. I'd rather use three things I can explain clearly than ten things that sound impressive but don't add anything. If you ever want to know why a specific ingredient is in a product, the answer is always going to be this simple.
FAQ
Are all the ingredients organic?
Yes, every ingredient across the Body Oil and Face Oil is organically sourced.
Why so few ingredients compared to other skincare brands?
Each ingredient is chosen for a specific purpose. Once that purpose is covered, adding more doesn't improve the product, it just adds cost and complexity.
Are there any common allergens to be aware of?
Almond oil is a tree nut derivative, so anyone with a tree nut allergy should patch test or avoid the Body Oil. Essential oils can also be sensitizing for some people; a patch test is always a good idea before regular use.
